Cheb Bilal, whose real name is Moufok Bilal, is an Algerian singer of rai born July 23, 1966 in Cherchell. He began his musical career in the 80s as a chorus singer for Cheb Khaled and Cheb Faudel. In 1991, he released his first album entitled "Babor LI Jebni" which was a great success. Since then, he has released many albums and has become one of the most popular Raï singers in Algeria and in the Arab world.
