More Info:

Less than a year after his debut release ('The Waiter') began flying off the shelves in Nashville and making waves on the internet, Chad Smith is back!! For his sophomore effort, Smith packs 17 tracks of pure emotion onto a very addictive CD. While 'The Waiter' was an intimate, all acoustic record, 'Mostly I Lie' is the result of Smith's teaming up with some of the finest musicians in Nashville. In fact, every musician performing on this record has also lent their talents to releases by Major Record Labels. Playing their instruments on records by Garth Brooks, Mark Wills, Keith Urban, Rascal Flatts, and at least a dozen other of the biggest names in music, these musicians are in demand and at the top of their game! As with Smith's first release, the songwriting found on 'Mostly I Lie' is top notch. While 10 of the 17 songs were written by Smith alone, he also composed with some of the best songwriters on the planet to complete this project. Between the 7 co-writers that have tunes on Smith's release came such hits as 'We Danced'(Brad Paisley), 'Cowboy Love'(John Michael Montgomery), '19 Something'(Mark Wills), 'Goodbye On A Bad Day'(Shannon Lawson), 'Little Moments'(Brad Paisley), 'I Love You This Much'(Jimmy Wayne) and other songs recorded by Collin Raye, Faith Hill, LeeAnn Rimes, Josh Gracin, and Kenny Rogers. With great songs, great musicians, and Smith's easy to listen to voice, 'Mostly I Lie' is sure to be a favorite of many. That, my friends, is most definitely the truth!!
